Julie Gibson

Julie Gibson is a partner at Matteuzzi & Brooker. Ms. Gibson primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, appellate advocacy, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and general business. She is currently admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas and the U.S. District Courts for the Western Eastern Districts of Missouri, the District Court of Kansas, the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Gibson graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1990. She has more than 25 years of experience litigating a broad variety of matters and has developed not only a strong emphasis in appellate advocacy, complex motion practice, research and writing, but also the ability to efficiently deliver an outstanding product for the client. With a unique litigation perspective, Ms. Gibson also advises both businesses and individual clients with respect to contracts, leases, and other matters with the same care, attention, and dedication to providing an effective and cost-efficient result.

Ms. Gibson lives in the Raytown area (a suburb of Kansas City) and, along with her partner, enjoys spending time with their five nearly grown children, nephew, and great niece. When not practicing law, Ms. Gibson may be on the tennis court with her tennis family or tending to her backyard apiary where she and her middle son manage several bee hives.
