Daniel Keating is an associate attorney with Matteuzzi & Brooker. Mr. Keating primarily practices in the areas of insurance defense, trucking defense, personal injury, and business litigation. Daniel is currently admitted to the Kansas bar and the U.S. District Court of Kansas.
Daniel graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2012, where he served as Articles Editor on the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also received his Masters with Honor in Anthropology from KU in 2012. His research was funded by the Odyssey Archaeological Research Program. Prior to law school, Mr. Keating graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Anthropology.
Before joining Matteuzzi and Brooker, Mr. Keating was in private practice with a firm in the Kansas City area. His practice was primarily focused on family law, estate planning, probate, contracts, and business/franchise law, including business formation, transactions, and litigation. Daniel takes a holistic approach to help clients achieve advantageous and innovative solutions to their legal needs. Daniel is rated as a “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers.
In the local community, Daniel participates with Knights of Columbus, where he served as an officer and board member for several years. In addition, Daniel is a founding member and past-President of KOC Charities of Gardner, Inc. Daniel is married and has two children. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, helping coach his kids’ sports teams, hiking, and participating in endurance challenges.
